v3.131: Wiki-Access, exiting groups and duplicate financial transactions

It’s slowly getting warmer outside and you may already be planning your next events or group activities. This update brings some practical improvements to match: you can view wiki content directly in groups, better control group exits, make registrations more flexible, and create financial bookings much faster. Take a look and discover how the new features make your everyday life easier!

View wiki content directly in groups

Group members can now see the relevant wiki categories and pages at the bottom of the group overview – provided their role permits access. This way you can find important information right where you need it, without having to search the wiki first. For example, as a staff member you can view all relevant guides or service plans directly within your group.

A widget showing the most recently created pages is displayed for each wiki category. The wiki category must be granted at least read permissions directly for a group role.

New permission: Exit the group

With the new group-level permission “Exit the group” you can control whether members are allowed to leave a group on their own. This gives you more control over your group structure. This is particularly useful for courses or projects where participants should be able to unregister independently.

Email optional for additional persons

When registering for a group, the “Email” field for additional registered persons is no longer mandatory. This makes it easier to register families or groups, where not every person has their own email address. For example, you can easily register multiple children at once.

Easily duplicate financial bookings

Bookings can now be duplicated with ease. This saves you time when, for example, you want to recreate a cancelled booking without having to re-enter all the data. Simply use the existing booking as a template and adjust only the necessary details.
