Now you can do that in the ChurchTools app! 🎉 With version 0.81, you can create polls directly in chats and react to comments on posts with emojis. New icons also make menus easier to navigate, and we’ve optimized the app’s performance on Android. Here’s an overview of what’s new!
Create polls directly in chats
You can now create and answer polls directly in chats. This makes it easy to gather opinions and make decisions within a conversation. For example, you can ask your small group which date works best for the next meeting. For now, polls support single-choice answers, meaning each participant can select one option.
React to comments with emojis
Emoji reactions are now available for comments on posts, too. You can react directly to a comment without having to write a reply. Whether it’s a 👍 to show agreement or a ❤️ to say thanks, interacting with others in the comments is now even easier.
New icons make menus easier to navigate
Actions in selection menus now come with matching icons. This helps you quickly recognize what each menu option does, making it easier to find your way around and navigate the app.
Improved performance on Android
We’ve optimized the ChurchTools App’s performance and memory usage on Android. This allows the app to use available resources more efficiently and run more smoothly.
