Export finance reports as Excel or CSV
You can now download financial reports as Excel or CSV files. This makes further analysis or sharing with your team or external parties much easier.

DATEV export with consultant and client numbers
In the client master data, you can now enter the DATEV consultant and client numbers. These will be included automatically in the export – a welcome update for your accounting team.

Cost centers are now optional for purposes
When creating a purpose, assigning a cost center is no longer mandatory. This gives you more flexibility in structuring your finances.
Taxes sorted by account number
For better clarity, taxes are now automatically sorted by their associated account number – helping you find what you need faster.
Events for recurring appointments
When you set up a recurring appointment and there’s a matching event template available, ChurchTools will now automatically create the corresponding events for you. That means less manual work – perfect for regular services or team meetings with a consistent structure.
Resource admins now with full permissions
Resource admins can now manage all booking requests – including editing, approving, and declining. The new “administer bookings” permission gives clear responsibilities and simplifies resource management.
Additionally, the permission administer bookings
has been enhanced, to allow requesting resources.
New API for booking conflicts
The new POST /bookings/conflicts
endpoint allows you to check if a new booking conflicts with existing ones. A great tool for integrating external systems or automating booking validations.
Arrangements now include source info
When retrieving song arrangements via the API, you’ll now also get the source information. This helps you track where each song originated from.
Further changes
If this is not enough for you, you will find all changes of this and earlier versions in our Changelog.
We hope you like the new version as much as we do. As always, you may leave praise and constructive feedback in our forum.
