Whether April’s crazy weather is keeping you indoors or you’re knee-deep in planning the next church event – ChurchTools chat just got a lot more organized and flexible. This update brings you some super handy features: you can now edit or delete messages, react with emojis, and mark chats as read. Plus, a new line shows you exactly where the unread messages start. Here’s what’s new!
Edit and delete chat messages
Finally! If you make a typo in a chat message or change your mind – no worries. You can now edit or delete your own messages after sending them. Just tap the message and choose the right option. Perfect for clearing up misunderstandings or simply keeping your chats tidy.

Reactions for chat messages
Want to respond quickly without typing a full message? You can now react to chat messages with emojis (like thumbs up, heart & more). It saves time and keeps conversations engaging – ideal for showing quick agreement or sending a loving “Amen” in your group chat.

Mark chats as read
Already seen a message? Now you can manually mark chats as “read.” Super handy if you’re part of many groups and want to keep things organized. Just one click and your chat list looks clean again!

Line above the newest message
You’ll now see a subtle line in the chat that shows which messages are new since your last visit. That way, you can easily pick up where you left off without scrolling around or missing anything. Simple and clear!

If this is not enough for you, you will find all changes of this and earlier versions in our Changelog.
We hope you like the new version as much as we do. As always, you may leave praise and criticism in our forum.
