Last week we celebrated Pentecost. 🕊️ This week we are already heading towards the next holiday in Germany: Corpus Christi. Of course, the short weeks make us happy, but they don’t stop us from improving ChurchTools and presenting you with a new version.
Link preview with OpenGraph support
ChurchTools now displays a practical link preview if the relevant information is available. Thanks to OpenGraph support, you can now see directly what is behind a link without having to open it. This makes communication easier and ensures that you can recognize important content at a glance.
Manage notifications for posts on the web
With the latest version of ChurchTools, you can now manage notifications for posts directly on the web. This means you have even more control over which updates and information you want to receive. Whether you’re working on your computer or smartphone, you can easily customize your notifications and stay up to date.
Email summaries for posts
Another useful new feature in ChurchTools: Posts are now sent as email summaries. This means you will regularly receive an overview of the latest posts directly in your inbox. This keeps you informed without having to constantly check the app. This saves time and ensures that you don’t miss any important information.
Support for Avery Zweckform 3475 address labels
You can now use the Avery Zweckform 3475 template for your address labels. This extension makes it much easier to create and print labels and ensures that your mail looks professional and neat.
Improved handling of iCals that no longer exist
ChurchTools now deals better with iCals that no longer exist. If such a calendar is no longer available, you will now receive a clear message in the calendar. This will help you avoid potential confusion and keep your calendar clean and up-to-date.
Further changes
If this is not enough for you, you will find all changes of this and earlier versions in our Changelog.
We hope you like the new version as much as we do. As always, you may leave praise and constructive feedback in our forum.
