App v0.74: Notifications, nicknames und calendar update

Spring is here – and with it a fresh breeze for your ChurchTools App! 🌷☀️ We have some handy updates for you that make planning, managing, and tracking your groups and resources even easier. From individual notifications to smart calendar integration – here’s what’s new.

Subscribe to calendars from the app

You can now subscribe to calendars from the app in external calendar apps such as Google Calendar or your device’s calendar app. This way, your appointments and group activities always stay in view, even outside the app.

Onboarding to resources

When you open Resources for the first time, you will now receive a short introduction. This helps you get oriented more quickly and use all features efficiently right from the start.

Configure notifications for resources

You can now decide for yourself whether you want to receive notifications about resources. This way you only stay informed about the things that are relevant to you, without being distracted by unnecessary alerts.

Nicknames are displayed correctly

From now on, all nicknames are displayed correctly in the app. Whether in group lists, bookings, or appointments – personal names are now shown reliably and make communication easier.

Automatic background refresh

The app now automatically updates groups, bookings, and service plans in the background. This means you always have the latest data without needing to refresh manually.

If this is not enough for you, you will find all changes of this and earlier versions in our Changelog.

We hope you like the new version as much as we do. As always, you may leave praise and criticism in our forum.
