That’s why we at ChurchTools want to continue working on the topic of groups and are bringing group meetings into the app. What you already know from the web is now also available in the app.
Group meetings
Group meetings (help) are a useful feature to record attendances in a group. With version 0.27 we have brought the meetings into the app. Now you can not only record presences with the checkin, but also a lot more.
You can now see group meetings as a widget in the group and can call them up quickly and easily. But also creating new appointments is no problem.
You can now also close a meeting in the app. In the process, you have the option to fill out the feedback form that is stored for this group.
Create persons at check-in
We would prefer it if all people registered in advance for an event (e.g. a church service). Then all the data would already be in the system and the check-in can be completed without any problems. But sometimes a new person shows up at the door. What now? From version 0.27 you can create new persons (if you have the right) directly and assign them to a group.
Chat connection
This version also brings a small speed increase for the chat connection setup. If the app has been in the background for a long time, the connection to the chat server is now established faster.
