The 2024 annual preview<\/a> showed that we want to strengthen the community this year! We are starting this endeavor with the new “Posts” module. This new app version allows you (admins) to test and set up the new module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Posts module is available in version 0.52 for all people with administer person authorization. Posts can be the communication channel of your community, and therefore we give this function the space it deserves. The posts are always accessible via the tab bar at the bottom of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where is the account?<\/strong> The menu item “Account” has been removed from the tab bar to make room for posts. The account can still be accessed via the start screen and the profile picture at the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TIP: A long press on the profile picture opens the menu for changing the installation if you are logged in to several installations.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Posts are created in groups and also appear on the group page. The two most recent posts are displayed directly on the start page. Of course, comments and reactions are also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As mentioned above, the contributions are available to administrators so that they can set up and test the module. From March 4, 2024<\/strong>, the function will be available for all ChurchTools users. Please also read the article on ChurchTools version 3.106<\/a>, as the module can be configured on the web.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
